How to Say “Can I help you?” in Chinese?

1. When do we say "Can I help you?" ?

When we see somebody who may need help.

2. How to say "Can I help you?" in Chinese?

"我能帮你吗（wǒ néng bāng nǐ ma）？"

"To help" is "帮(bāng)" in Chinese.
Do you remember how to say "I" in Chinese? "我(wǒ)".
How about "you"? 你（nǐ）.
"能(néng)" means "can" or "be able to".

Sentence-final particles are common in the Chinese language. "吗(ma)" is one of the most common Mandarin question particles. It converts statements into simple 'yes / no' questions.

Usually, when you go into a store, what the person who is working there say to you?
"我能帮你吗（wǒ néng bāng nǐ ma）？" （Can I help you?）

What's your answer?
"是的。（shìde）"（Yes.）
