昨 天高达九点五米的孔子像在国家博物馆北门广场正式亮相。孔子像紧邻天安门广场，面对川流不息的东长安街。青铜像整体为绿色，人像高七点九米，石头基座高一 点六米。国博有关负责人介绍，塑像结合了周边环境，以简朴概括的手法，将人体的结构融入自然的山石形态中，与国博的建筑交相辉映。其中“儒气”是最大的看 点，展示出中华文化的悠久灿烂与正大气象。

Yesterday a statue of Confucius as high as 9.5 metres was unveiled at the National Museum on the North Gate Plaza. The statue of Confucius next to Tiananmen Square, faces the the unending flow of the East Chang An Avenue. Bronze green overall, 7.9 metres high statue, stone base 1.6 metres high. The person in charge of the National Museum made the introduction. The statue blends simply and skillfuly with the surrounding environment, the structure of the human body with the natural shape of the hills and the structure of the National Museum enhancing each other's beauty. Among the greatest aspect of Confucianism, it demonstrates the long and splendid Chinese Culture and honest atmosphere.
